Timbren Rear Suspension System Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Speaker 1: Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part number TGMRCK25D. What these are going to allow you to do is carry a heavy load in the bed of your truck, or tow a trailer with a high tongue weight without having to worry about the backend of your truck sagging down quite as much. These will help maintain your ride height and give you a smooth ride. As this bump stop starts to collapse in this ridge area here, it becomes stiffer giving you more support. And now we'll compare it with the Timbren to the factory bump stop. As you can immediately tell, it's much larger. This will give us more of a cushion to absorb the heavy loads that our truck is carrying or towing. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part number F2596. This is what our airbags look like when they're installed, it's gonna come with all the necessary hardware, there's gonna be no drilling required. It has a nice powder coat finish to protect from any rust or corrosion. It fits nicely in between your axle and your frame and these are gonna have a 5,000 pound max load capacity however I do recommend checking your owners manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that amount of weight. Here on our test course you will notice on our left side of our screen as we go over the speed bumps with the factory suspension set under weight we get a lot of up and down movement which in turn put a significant amount of strain on the suspension. On the right side of the screen you will see the new airbags installed, you will notice as we go over bumps the airbags will greatly reduce the strain on the factory suspension while providing a much safer ride while leveling out your vehicle when loaded and prolonging the life of your factory suspension. Here on our slalom course with our factory set up you will see a lot of body roll when loaded, with the new airbags installed the ride feels much more solid and stable while greatly reducing body roll. We're gonna take some measurements to show you the ride height before we put some weight in it. more
