Malone Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2008 Chevrolet Impala- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Impala, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hanger 3 Trunk Mount Bike Rack, part number NPG2142. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.The cradles are adjustable back and forth and side to side and can be tightened down with this Phillips head screw, here, and they are padded as well as they have these grooves on the inside of them, here, so the cables your bike can rest inside there instead of being smashed up against the frame once you install your bike.It does have these very flexible strips to tighten them down and there's only going to be two points of contact and that's going to be these points at the top frame. It does also come along with this stabilization strap, here. We only have it wrapped on our tire just to make sure it doesn't make contact with our vehicle, but it does come with two straps that you would put around all three bikes as well as the bike rack itself to keep everything together and keep it from moving back and forth while you drive.There is an issue that I'd really like to point out, here. In this particular case with how we have this set up, the pedal may make contact with your vehicle, so you may need to have something, a pad of some sort, to wrap around your pedal to make sure it doesn't damage your vehicle once you drive.Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Impala, we're gonna be test-fitting the Malone Pilot 2 Bike Platform Rack for Trunk Mounts, part number: MPG2133. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. What makes this bike rack pretty unique is the fact that it's a platform style that does mount to your trunk, as opposed to in most of them, which are the hanging style. It grips your bike at three points. We're gonna have this frame mount up here at the top. more

Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2008 Chevrolet Impala- Video
Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Impala we're doing a test fit of the Thule Raceway PRO Trunk Mount 2 Bike Rack. That part number is TH9001PRO. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have two straps on the top of our frame here and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release those. more

Thule Archway Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2008 Chevrolet Impala- Video
Today on our 2008 Chevrolet Impala we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Archway XT Trunk Mount 2-Bike Rack, that part number is: TH9009XT. Now we all ready have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. We have three straps all together. We've got two over the top portion of our frame and one to the side as our anti-sway strap here. To remove those, we're going to pull down and lift up. Then we'll be able to take our bike off and set it off to the side. Now in this case we have had to use a wheel strap to hold our bike in place, you can find those at etrailer.com. Next, we're going to take a few measurements here. more
