The TrekStep is a great solution for someone that's looking for a way to get access to their bed easier without a step stool or stepping on your bumper. It is deployable just with your foot so you can kick it in and pull it out without blocking any access to the back of your hitch and giving you a little bit easier access to your bed. The TrekStep is spring loaded, made from extruded aluminum. What that does for you, extruded aluminum, it's gonna be more solid and rigid for holding up weight, so that's actually really good for that. Weight capacity goes up to 300 pounds, and the surface is textured, so I would feel comfortable if this we inchesre my truck to add having this as another add-on. more

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Brophy stake pocket mount step with tie-down for your flatbed truck or trailer. This stake pocket mounted step is going to give you easy access to your flatbed truck or trailer, and the bracket is going to slide into your 3 1/2 inch stake pocket and it's going to secure in place with the included pin and clip. This will lie flush with the top of your flatbed deck and it will have a distance from the flatbed deck to the step of about 20 inches. Now this tie-down ring here is going to give you an attachment point for your tie-down straps. The ring diameter is 3/8 of an inch. It has a safe working load limit of 2,000 pounds and a maximum load or brake strength of 6,000 pounds. more

Performance Tool Non-Slip Surface Wheel Step Review- Video
There is a lot of reasons why you need to get up onto your roof. For me, it's to load up my cargo basket, but you could have a cargo box, you could just have a bunch of different accessories, like a kayak, carrier on your roof rack, bike rack on your roof rack, a lot of different situations. Maybe you're just detailing a car and you need to get up there. Well, we're gonna be taking a look at the performance tool wheel step. This step is gonna give us about 21" by 9" of a step. So I can sit here with both of my feet, and the nice thing about this is, I really don't just have to balance on the wheel, I don't have to go in and just kinda stand on my running boards, if you have running boards, it doesn't really get me up as high and I really have to hold onto something or lean in. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Bestop Trekstep. Now, this is going to be a simple way to make it a lot easier to get into the back of your truck, to get out any equipment you need, maybe to just get in and out without having to drop the tailgate every time, or make it even easier to get up there. It's going to sit up flush against our truck, whenever we don't need it. But, then when we do, you just press on it, and it will deploy out from underneath our truck.It's got a nice non-skid surface on the top of our step. It's like a medium grade sandpaper type texture, so you don't have to worry about slipping or sliding on that step. But you can slide the step to the right angle that you need it, so if you want it a little bit closer to the cab, a little bit closer to the tailgate, you can get that dialed in and then tighten down those four bolts at the bottom.Whenever you don't need it, it's just going to retract up, whenever you kick it up with your foot. more

Today we're gonna take a look at the Bestop Trekstep. Now, this is going to be an easy way to get in and out of your truck bed. With this mounted it's going to just stay flush up against your bumper, but then whenever you need it you just press down on it with your toe and it'll deploy out. So now we have an easy to use step to get up into our truck bed, adjust anything we need to, get anything off our ladder rack or maybe out of a toolbox, hook up our fifth wheel, whatever it may be.Something I like about this is that we can adjust the step forward and backward by loosening the bolts at the bottom. This will actually slide in the track so we can get it adjusted to wherever we need it to be, if that's closer to the cab, maybe closer to the tailgate. And then it also comes with a couple of spacers so that we can get the height adjusted to where we want it. more

We're either going to have to lift our leg up all the way up to the bumper or possibly sit on the tailgate and turn in, but our step is going to make it a lot easier. It's a spring loaded step that's going to come out beneath our bumper, so we can get in the bed a lot easier and safer.The nice thing about the step is that it is going to work with the tailgate down or up. We're either going to have to lift our leg up all the way up to the bumper, or possibly sit on the tailgate and turn in. Our step is going to make it a lot easier. It's a spring loaded step that's going to come out beneath our bumper so we can get in the bed a lot easier and safer.The nice thing about this step is that it is going to work with the tailgate down or up. Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Ford F-250, we're going to be installing the Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step, part number B75303.When your tailgate's down, it's too hard to step up here. There's not much bumper left to step on, so this way it's easy to hop back in there. Its 11-1/2 x 6-1/2" surface has a nice rough non-slick texture. This is good for those wet days to make it safe to hop in the back. It's got Allen bolts underneath that allows the step to adjust side to side. We've got our adjusted here for the tailgate so when it's down we can still get access to it. more

Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step Installation - 2016 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2016 Ford F-150, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step, part number B7530815. We've all been in that situation where we have our tailgate down, and we need to get in the back of our truck. Well, with the tailgate down, we no longer have the bumper as an option for a step, but that's where our truck step's going to come in. It's a spring-loaded step, so you made it a lot easier, allowing us to step up and grab the gear that we need out of our truck bed without having to strain. The thing I really like about this step is that you can use with the tailgate up or down, and instead of being a hitch-mounted step, it's going to leave our hitch open for plenty of other accessories. When we're not using it, our step's going to sit up nicely close to our bumper, and whenever we're ready to use it, there's just enough room to get our foot in there and bring it down. The mounting bracket and the linkage on our step are made of a high strength aluminum alloy, and they have a powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion. Our stepping platform is also made out of aluminum with a nice rugged texture so we know we're going to have a secure footing whenever we're ready. Our step is going to be about 11 and 1/2" wide, by 6 and 1/2" deep. more

Pilot Truck Bed Swing Out Step Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be installing the Pilot Automotive Truck Bed Swing Out Step, part number AS-550. Here's what our step looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up underneath our vehicle and not noticeable when it's not in use. When we want to use it, we just need to pull back on this handle here, let go of it, and it'll lock into place because it's spring loaded. Now, we can store it to the rear or we can also store it to the front if we want. We'll put it back in the use position here and we'll show you how it works. Now, the step is useful for helping you get stuff out of your bed. You can step up on it and you can easily reach up inside your bed that's stored off to the side versus having to hop up on the back and walk all the way in. more

Today, on our 2008 Ford F350, we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the Bestop TrekStep. This is an aluminum truck bumper step for the driver's side, part number is B75303. Here's what our step is going to look like installed, nice, clean look here on the back of the truck. We've got complete rust-proof aluminum construction, so we're not going have to worry about, well, like everything else on the truck, eventually salt or moisture gets to it, and it winds up rusted, so not going to have to worry about that with this. It doesn't hang down very far underneath the truck, so unless you're in the habit of sliding your bumper off the mud or something like that, I don't think you'll have any big issue with it getting hung up on anything. To use it, you just step down on it. It's going to bring the step out. It's going to allow us to get up into the bed of our truck pretty safely, pretty easily. more

Today on this 2013 GMC Sierra, we're going to review and install the Bestop Truck Step Truck Bumper Step, part #B75300. This is what the truck step looks like when it is installed on a Sierra. Right now it's in it's retracted position, so it's stowed up and out of the way. When we need to use it, all I got to do is push down on it, a little bit of pressure from the back, and it pops right out. Then we can use it to get into our truck bed. When we're done using it, pressure from the bottom and it pops right back up. Unlike other steps that rely on your hitch, this one is off to the side, so you can still use your favorite hitch accessories. more

Today it's 2013 Ford F250 Super Duty crew cab. We're going to start partner mobile 00:00:05 75303 from dust off 00:00:08. This is a truck bumper step. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and find a location for our mount. We're looking at the driver's side behind the bumper, and we remove these 2 nuts. We need to keep these, because we'll be able to re-use these during the mount inaudible 00:00:24. We'll use a 21-mm socket to go ahead and remove. All right, we'll go ahead and do some sub-assembly now on our step. more
