DeeZee Toolbox Review - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be testing the Dee Zee Truck Bed Toolbox, part number DZ8537. This is a nice sturdy aluminum toolbox, so you know it's not going to rust, and it also is kind of unique in how it sits in the truck bed, where it has this lip on this side here that actually fits perfectly up against the cab of the truck and still is able to open the chest completely. It's not like the toolboxes that lay over the bed rails, so therefore it has a low profile and you're not going to be able to see it if you're just looking at the truck from the outside. It does lock and has a paddle handle, and it has about 6.4 cubic feet of space to work with, plus it has this metal tray here that can slide back to forth to store your smaller items. This is perfect from anything for tools to tool bags, gym bags, whatever you're going to be carrying with you on the job site. It measures 37 1/8th inch long by 19 inches wide by 15 inches tall.
