Whenever you needed to get something out of the bed of your truck, with the tailgate down, it makes it a lot more difficult to get in there. We're either going to have to lift our leg up all the way up to the bumper or possibly sit on the tailgate and turn in, but our step is going to make it a lot easier. It's a spring loaded step that's going to come out beneath our bumper, so we can get in the bed a lot easier and safer.The nice thing about the step is that it is going to work with the tailgate down or up.
