RockyMounts Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're test fitting the Rocky Mounts Drive shaft SD. Now this is a pickup truck bed rail style bike carrier. It is designed to work with normal skewer bikes, 20 mm thru axle and 15 mm thru axles. It is really quite a versatile little carrier that is going to mount right into the track on our Toyota here. Holds nice and secure, no movement, no play. Really overall a really nice set up. more

Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of the Thule GateMate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. That part number is TH823. Now, we already have this loosely installed on there. We're going to show you how we secure everything down, and then we'll go over some things that you can actually load up on here. So, I've just got this set right here, and what I'm going to do is start by adjusting it, making sure that our pads are sticking up and are at the ends, and then we'll open up our flack here. We're just going to open up our tailgate and let that hang down as normal, and because my arms aren't long enough I can't reach over to secure my straps into place, so what I have to do is actually feed them underneath my tailgate up under here and reach in between the two like so and just pull it up through, so if you're having difficulty feeding it through the bottom and reaching around and pulling it up, this might be an easier way to do so. Now, when I have that, I'm going to set my tailgate pad so that the tailgate kind of holds it in place, and we'll pull the rest of that strap through and we'll tighten it down a bit more. Now, we'll do the same thing on this side here; pull our strap out, reach it through. Let's go up and then down through our buckle and tighten that up a bit. more

Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Tacoma TH501- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Insta-Gater Truck Bed Single Bike Rack. That part number is TH501. Now I already have my bike secured down. I'm first going to show you how we do that and then we'll go over at how our bike rack is actually secured to our truck. If you step up in here, you'll see our wheel hook. Now this is going to push on our front tire here and ratch it down to secure our bike up against our tailgate and then to our wheel cradle. more
