Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at this Superwinch four inch by eight foot long Heavy-Duty Tree Saver Strap. Now, this strap with its padded sleeves is going to provide a strong anchor point for recoveries while protecting trees from rope damage. It's going to allow you to use the strength of a tree root system as an anchor. Now, with its reinforced closed-loop ends, it can be used as a rigging strap to secure winch straps and D-rings. For example, I do have a bow shackle right here, and we're just gonna go ahead and open up the pin. Let me show you how easy it is just to run one of these loops through, and that's gonna give you a nice secure attachment point. more

Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here with eTrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to tell you a little bit more about our Bulldog Winch Tree Saver Strap. This strap is not only going to give you a better pull point when attaching to a tree, but it's going to save that tree by getting mauled by that cable. This tree saver strap is going to have a 30,000-pound weight capacity, so it's going to be more than strong enough to help you get out of a bind. It's going to have a 3-inch diameter on the strap, and it's going to be 10-feet long, so you're going to have plenty of length to get around various different sized trees.Here we have a medium-sized tree, so we we're able to wrap it around once completely and back to itself like you can see here. If you have a larger tree, you may only be able to get it around once, or if you have a smaller tree, you may be able to go around twice.One thing I really like about this strap that really makes it stand out is that it's blue in color, so you're going to be able to see very easily where this is at either in your toolbox or on the tree, so you're not going to lose it. more

Today we'll be taking a quick look at the Bulldog Winch Heavy Duty Tree Saver Strap.Now whenever you're trying to recover your vehicle or ATV out of a tricky situation and you need something to winch off of, this is going to give you an easy way to do that without ruining any trees. A lot of times if you're using a rope or a cable, it can actually kind of saw into the tree, and cause a lot of really irreparable damage. So this is going to alleviate that problem.We'll have this nice thick strap with two reinforced ends, so it just loops through itself and then we'll have these two portions that are also reinforced, has little nylon casing going around that, to provide a little extra protection to the strap itself.It's woven out of a durable, heavy duty polyester. Measures three inches wide by six feet long. It has a 30,000 pound break strength, and a 10,000 pound working load limit or WLL. We'll have this sewn in tie cord so whenever we have it rolled up, you can just pop that around and keep it nice and neat so we can throw this into a storage area, maybe a trunk, side pocket somewhere, out of the way.So a helpful, easy tool to use to help prevent any damage to the trees around you while you're trying to recover that vehicle out of the muck. more

It's designed to help protect the tree while using it as an anchor point for your vehicle. Basically what you do is you wrap this strap around the tree. Bulldog Winch Tree Saver Strap Review- Video
Here's a great look at our 2 inch by 8 foot Bulldog winch tree saver strap. This is part number BDW20051. This gives us a total of an 8,800 pound break strength and a safe working load limit of 2,900 pounds. You can see here we've got the reinforcements sewn into the end of our loops which are also doubled over. It's going to give us great strength and good abrasion resistance. As you can see the tree saver strap here doing it's job well. What this is going to do, it spreads out that energy so we're not going to do damage to the bark of the tree or cause any scraping that we might otherwise see if we just had our cable wrapped around. That will complete our look at the bulldog winch 2 inch by 8 foot tree saver strap with a 8,800 pound capacity. more

Erickson Tree Tow Strap for Winches Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson tree tow strap for winching, this is part number 09506. This is a 4in wide 6ft long tree strap. It's designed to connect with a shackle and then connect to your winch so you can free your stuck vehicle. This spreads all of the energy that would normally be just on that narrow wire rope over a greater area so we don't cause any damage to the tree. This is going to have a heavy duty stitching here at our connection point and also doubled over here on the end to offer a superior strength and also abrasion resistance. Now this strap is rated for 7500lbs working load limit and a 15000lbs break strength. more

This is going to useful for connecting a wench wire rope to almost any anchor point, but it's primarily designed to prevent damage to a live tree by protecting the trunk. Sometimes when using just a straight wire rope or cable, you can actually dig into the surface of the tree. This eliminates that. The strap is going to 4 inches wide. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number EM09508, this is the Erickson Tree Saver Strap for recovery winches. This durable polyester recovery strap is going to wrap around a tree trunk to protect the trunk from damage when you use it as a winching anchor. It's going to feature two looped ends.
