This jack is gonna be a great replacement or addition to any trailer that already has a pipe mount, or if it has a frame that's large enough to weld on a pipe mount, this also comes with it. Now, this would go on the outside of your jack mount, but you can also go on the inside diameter like we have here today. We already had our welded-on pipe, so this slides on there with no problem. And the great part about these swivel pipe jacks is the storage feature on these, and that allows you to get this nice and tight and away from the ground as you're going down the road. more

Trailer Valet JXS Trailer Jack Review- Video

Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Trailer Valet JXS side mount trailer jack. This is gonna be a pretty heavy-duty jack with a really wide range of lift and a pretty unique feature set that allows you to raise and lower by hand or remove the handle, use the included drill attachment, and raise and lower it by drill. (drill whirring) Let's check it out. (drill whirring) Now, for me, the drill attachment is the biggest deal here because it just adds a level of convenience to using your jack because for one, unlike a electric jack, you don't have to worry about wiring anything up or any of that wiring failing on you. It's still a physical, mechanical mechanism. And if you've got a toolbox in the front of your trailer or you've got something in your truck, chances are you already have a drill on you. more

Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Dutton-Lainson Sidewind Trailer Jack for A-frame trailers with the caster wheel attachment at the bottom here at etrailer. So overall, it's gonna be a very simple trailer jack. It's got a 1,000 pound weight capacity, that sidewind design is gonna be good in case we've got something maybe like a toolbox where a topwind would maybe bump into it. I think overall right here, we're gonna have a good amount of control with it, everything feels very smooth, whether I'm raising it or lowering it, and the handle here swivels around, and it's wide enough for me to get my whole hand on it. It's definitely not the nicest construction handle, it's a pretty low-grade plastic, but I think it should last just fine, and overall, it's pretty comfortable. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Trailer Valet JXS Side Mount Sidewind Trailer Jack. Now, this trailer jack is going to let you raise and lower your boat or recreational trailer, and this has a lift capacity of 3,000 pounds with a support capacity of 5,000 pounds. Now, this jack features a manual crank as you can see, but it also includes a drill, a power option that is compatible with 18 volt to 24 volt drills using this included drill attachment. So this is going to greatly speed up extending and retracting your jack over this manual crank handle. By the way, this handle is about 6 1/2 inches long overall, and the overall height from the top of our jack to the ground that it's sitting on in the retracted position that we have it in right now, it's sitting right at about 23 inches, and then the overall height when this is fully extended, again, from the top of our jack to the ground that it's sitting on, is gonna be about 37 inches extended. Now, looking at our bracket and measuring from our bracket, the retracted height from the center of our bracket to the ground that it's gonna be sitting on is about 11 1/2 inches, and then when this jack is fully extended, measuring again from the center of our bracket to the ground that it's sitting on is gonna be about 25 1/2 inches, so you're going to have a travel of about 14 inches overall. more

Now, this is a nice heavy-duty square jack, it's smaller than your typical large capacity jacks, and it's perfect for tight fitting applications. It is a nice, durable, heavy-gauge construction, so it'll let you direct weld mount to your trailer without any burn through, gives you superior side-load capacity compared with any round jacks, and the outer and inner tubes will overlap for additional strength even when the jack is fully extended. The square design will provide additional support for any side loading, and the tubing width on this is three inches. This does give you long bearing and gear life with an oil-impregnated bushing. more
