Before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. Today on our 2011 GMC Sierra, we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball cushioned 6-way multi-hitch ball mount for 2" hitches, rated at 10,000 lbs., part number CAB-6W. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, and securing it with a pin and clip. Now since this ball mount has no drop or rise, if your trailer's ride height matches your vehicle's hitch height, the ball mount would be appropriate for you. We can rotate the ball mount to access the three different-size balls, a 2-5/16" ball, a 2" ball, and a 1-7/8" ball. Also, this ball mount can work with a clevis, lunette ring, or spade. Today on our 2011 GMC Sierra well be test fitting the Convert-a-ball dual cushioned adjustable ball mount with a 7-inch rise or 9-inch drop rated at 5,000 pounds, part number cab-um. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. Well line up the pin holes and secure it with a pin and clip. Now with the ball mount in the drop in its lowest position, we can measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform. Well get a measurement of about 13 inches. We can then pull the pin to raise the ball mount platform to its highest position while also in the drop. more

Today, on our 2011 GMC Sierra, well be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushion Pintle Hook Combo with three nickel plated balls, rated at 16,000 pounds, part number PH2. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch and securing it with the pin and clip. Now, to access the pintle, or to be able to use one of the three nickel plated balls, we can pull the gold safety pin at the base, and then pull out the silver circle and lift up on the handle.
