Today, on our 2010 GMC Sierra, well be test fitting the Draw-Tite Ball Mount with rise or 2 drop, rated at 6,000 lbs, part number 2923. Now before beginning our test fit, well need to get our hitch height measurement. To do this, well measure from the inside top edge of the receiver tube to the ground. Now on this truck, that measurement is 17-3/4. Now keep in mind that, that measurement can vary due to hitch style, tire size or any other accessory which may change the vehicles right height, so its a good idea to measure yours. Well now go ahead and insert the ball mount shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. more
