Today on our 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 well be test fitting the Anderson Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount with two chrome balls with a 6 inch rise or a 5 inch drop, part number am3410. Now before we begin our test fit we will first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is about 20 inches. Now this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or any other after-market accessories. Now to begin our test fit well slide the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening on the hitch, line up our pin holes and secure the ball mount with the pin and clip. more
