Adding a hitch to your Volvo is going to make your vehicle much more versicle. You can add a bike rack, you can add a cargo carrier, you can pull a trailer. And in that bike rack, you'll be able to put bikes on the bike racks that have happened to try to load them inside the vehicle or put them up on a roof rack. Putting a cargo carrier on you can get some items from inside put them outside onto the cargo carrier to make more room for passengers.It's going to be a Class III Hitch 2-Inch x 2-Inch receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Volvo XC60 - Curt- Video

Today on our 2013 Volvo XC60, we're going to be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13268. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 7 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 13 1/4 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Now to begin with, we're going to need to remove two rubber exhaust hangers here at the rear of the vehicle. more
