Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit - Draw-Tite

Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class I Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 24825.Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It is a Class I hitch, so it's gonna give us that 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great for bike racks or cargo carriers. Everything is gonna attach using the 1/2" diameter pinhole here. The pin and clip are not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC2. The safety chain loops are gonna be a loop style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube, and as you can see, we're gonna have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off. We are gonna see the cross bar sticking out underneath, but it is gonna blend in with the plastic on the bottom of our car, and it's not really gonna take way too much from the looks. more
