So our EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch is going to be an excellent option for our Jetta here. It's going to give us the larger two inch receiver tube opening. And what that's going to do is that's going to allow us to carry a greater amount of bikes. It's going to give us more bike racks and cargo carriers to choose from that we can also use for towing as well. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen we will be installing the Draw Tite Sport Frame Class I 1-1-4" Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 24866. Here's what the hitch looks like once it's been installed. It tucks up fairly nicely underneath the bumper cover of our vehicle. The only thing you can really see hanging down is the frame of the hitch itself and the 1-1/4" Class I receiver. This hitch is rated for 200 pounds max tongue weight and 2000 pounds max trailer weight. It utilizes your standard 1/2" diameter hitch pin hole here. You can see our safety chain loops are very easily accessible here, and you can even use the smallest diameter safety chains on there without any problem. Now, for a few measurements to better assist you in choosing any hitch-mounted accessories. more

Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagon we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Draw-Tite SportFrame trailer hitch receiver. This is a custom fit class one trailer hitch with an 1-1/4" opening. Its part number is 24866. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we get it installed on the vehicle. As you can see, you see it all the way across here. It's going to tuck up over our muffler on this side so we won't have to worry about moving that. more

Today, on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Sport Wagon, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom-fit Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is an inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is C11072. Here's the hitch once you get it installed on the vehicle. Overall, it's a nice-looking class 1 hitch. It has a pretty, wouldn't say a heavy-duty look to it, but a real strong look to it. more

Well be using an access hole that goes into the spare tire well and to avoid puncturing the tire weve gone ahead and removed it. more

First is gonna be the exhaust hanger here. Remove two bolts to hold the hanger up to the frame. more
