Best 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Hitch Options- Video
Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Jetta we'll be looking at our best hitch options. On the top we have a CURT class one, part number C11072. On the bottom we have a Draw-Tite class one, part number 24866. Now the main difference between our two hitches here today is the construction. Our CURT hitch has a round tubular construction, which is more aesthetically pleasing in my mind, whereas our Draw-Tite is a rectangular construction. Then there's our safety chain attachment points. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Volkswagen Jetta - Curt- Video
Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan, we're going to be installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C11072. Now here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the out most edge of the bumper is approximately 6 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 10 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. First we're going to be getting underneath the rear passenger's side of the vehicle. We're going to need to remove this panel right here by removing several fasteners in order to lower it down out of the way. more
