Trailer Hitch Installation - 2000 Toyota Sienna - Curt- Video
Today on our 2000 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing the inaudible 00:00:04 hitch part number C13511. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed, next I'm going to give you a couple measurements to assist your selecting accessories for your new hitch, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is three and a half inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 15 and a quarter inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. We'll now go ahead with the installation. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and locate the manufacturer's tow hooks. We have one on each side, each tow hook has two attachment points. We'll need to remove these fasteners and the tow hooks, setting them aside as they will not be reinstalled. Each process we do here on one side will be repeated identically on the opposite side. With both tow hooks removed, we're ready to install the new hitch. The new hitch will get secured with the new 10 millimeter block, split lock washer, and flat washer. more
