Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be installing etrailer.com's class three two-inch, trailer hitch receiver, part number E98844.This is what your hitch is going to look like when it's installed. You are going to be able to see the cross tube underneath the bumper, but it's going to be tucked back, and the matte finish is going to nicely flow right into that lower fascia.This is a class three, two inch by two inch receiver. So it's going to be great for all your towing needs. From bike racks, to cargo carriers, to trailers, this thing will tow it all.It uses a 5/8 inch hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the kit, but you could pick one up, here at etrailer.com. It has plate-style safety chain loops, with large, rectangular openings that should accommodate both small and large safety chains.It features a 900 pound tongue weight, and that's the force going down on top of the receiver. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2018 Toyota Highlander. Here on top we're going to have etrailer's hitch, part number E98844. Here we're going to have a Draw-Tite, part number 75896. This one here, we're going to have another Draw-Tite, part number 76156. Here on the bottom we're going to have the CURT, part number 13200.One of the noticeable differences between these four hitches is this Draw-Tite here is going to have more of a square or rectangle-style crosstube, where our other three are going to have a round tube. Now this could make a difference on how it looks on the back of the vehicle.Now as far as our safety chain hookups, our etrailer hitch, our top Draw-Tite, and the lower CURT are going to have plate-style safety chain hookups. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Highlander we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13200.Here's what our hitch is going to look like. It is going to sit just right below the bumper and the cross-tube is going to sit right below the bumper as well, and it is going to be visible. The receiver tube is going to be pretty close to flush with the back of the bumper. Maybe just a quarter or an eighth of an inch, not sticking out much at all. We're not going other have to worry about running into it when we're walking behind our car.Our hitch is a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening and it's going to feature a reinforced collar not only adding to the nice look of it, but also giving it some added strength. Since it's a Class III, we're going to have a wide variety of accessories available. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class Three Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76156. So here's what our hitch is going to look like. The main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out the back, and the cross tube may be visible if we get low enough, but it's going to be pretty well hidden right underneath the bumper here. Our receiver is going to stick out just a little bit past the back of our bumper, but we're not really gonna have to worry about bumping into it unless we're right up against the car when we're walking behind it.It's a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and it has a nice reinforced collar just adding to the finished look of it, as well as giving it at its strength. Now since it is a class three, we're going to have a wide variety of accessories that we're going to be able to mount and we're going to mount 'em right here in this five ace hitch pinhole except a standard five ace pinning clip. Now these aren't included in the kit, but you can pick 'em up on our website using part number PC3.Now you'll notice there's a smaller secondary hole towards the back of the receiver tube and that's going to be exclusively for the J-Pin stabilization device which is going to be an anti-rattle device which is going to be nice if any of your accessories don't have one built in. more

It is going to sit right below our bumper, and the cross tube is going to be visible spanning from side to side.Our receiver hitch is going to stick out past our bumper, which is going to be nice because we're going to have a lot of different options. When it comes to any type of accessory, we're not going to have to worry about it in contact with our bumper as much. Now, you do want to be careful when you're walking by, it's not sticking out to where you really have to watch, unless you're extremely close to the vehicle, but you want to watch your leg whenever you're walking behind it. more
