Speaker 1: Today on our 2004 Toyota Highlander we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. We have two hitches here today. They are both Class 3 hitches. On the top we have the CURT, part number 13530. On the bottom we have the Draw-Tite, part number 75153.The first biggest difference that we found between our two hitches here is in regards to weight capacity. Now while they both have a 350 pound max tongue weight rating and a 3,500 pound max gross trailer weight rating, the Draw-Tite hitch here does not support the use of weight distribution, whereas the CURT hitch does. more

Today on our 2004 Toyota Highlander, well be installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch in a Class III of the 2 inch opening on the receiver, part number 75153. Heres what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground is approximately 15-1/4 inches. Now from the center of the hitch pin hole, it is actually even with the outer most edge of the bumper. This hitch actually sticks out past your rear bumper approximately 2-1/2 inches. Now lets go ahead and install our hitch. more

Today were working on a 2004 Toyota Highlander. Were going to install a Curt Hitch part number C13530. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a draw bar, a bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the pin hitch hole to the outer most of the bumper is 2-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 14-3/4 inches. Now lets go ahead with the installation. more
