How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com, today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com, Class 3, Two-inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. Now compared to some of the other hitches available, this one is going to be a little bit more visible, but in my opinion, it looks pretty good on the back of our Subaru. It's going to match the body lines nicely and almost look like it belongs. And there is an upside to that visibility, that's going to be how easy it is to use since everything is in the open, it's going to be really easy to get all of our accessories connected and disconnected. Another thing, I noticed, is that our hitch is going to give us some really good clearance. And what I mean by that is the end of our receiver tube is actually going to stick out just a little bit past our bumper and that's going to be perfect, especially for those folding accessories.Another thing, that separates this hitch from some of the others is its finish, it's going to have a matte black, carbide powder coat finish, which is going to stay in really good shape, be scratch-resistant and it's also going to match our Subaru's trim package, almost spot on. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Subaru Crosstrek- Video
Today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek we're going to be taking a look at and also showing you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This offers the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. It's part number is C11286. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. As you can see the cross tube is going to come across the rear of the fascia here. It tucks up really nicely to it. Has a nice finished look with the side plates on each end which is different from some of the other Class 1 hitches available for the Crosstrek. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Subaru Crosstrek DT24959- Video
Today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw Tite Sports Frame Custom Fit Class 1 Trailer Hitch Receiver, offering the inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. It's part number is DT24959. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, it really snugs up nicely just underneath the fascia but you are going to have that cross tube that you'll see across the rear of the vehicle here. In the middle, we've got our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. This is a Class 1 hitch, so you've got safety chain connection points here if you are going to be hauling a small trailer. more

Best 2017 Subaru Crosstrek Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. We're going to start with our Draw-Tite class III, this is part number 76084. It's going to offer the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, and we're going to follow that up with the Curt, also a class III with the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. Its part number is C13135. Now the biggest difference between our two hitches that you're going to notice is that our Curt, you can see it's got the square cross tube on it. It's going to have a square design. With our Draw-Tite, we're going to have a rounded tube design. Now another slight variation we've got is with our safety chain connection points. more

Today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt custom fit class III trailer hitch receiver. Offering the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, it's part number is C13135. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. We have our side plates, this is going to be a pretty symmetrical look. It's going to have this square tube that'll come over here to the receiver tube opening. Now, with this being a class III hitch, we have the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Makes it a very, very versatile hitch. To secure those items in place, we've got the 5/8 diameter pinhole here. more

Today on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver offering the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Its part number is 76084. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. You can see you'll have a cross tube that comes over. It's almost symmetrical, this side is just a touch shorter. I don't think that's something you're going to notice looking at it from the rear of the vehicle but this one is just a little bit shorter. Our cross tube's going to come over, we've got our receiver tube in the middle here. more
