Best 2010 Nissan Xterra Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2010 Nissan Xterra. The hitches we'll be looking at are the CURT class three hitch, part number 13514, and the Draw-Tite class three hitch, part number 75291. The first major difference that we're going to see between these two hitches are when the CURT's on there, it's a little bit more aesthetically pleasing than the Draw-Tite. Just with the way that this reinforcement collar is made and the plate that's along the top just helps give it a little bit cleaner look. Another major difference that you're going to see between these two is the safety chain connection points. Down here on the Draw-Tite we've got the plate-style with the oval holes cut in them. Those give us pretty good access for a lot of safety chain connections, but up here on the CURT we've got the rolled steel safety chain connections. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today on this 2010 Nissan Xterra we are going to be installing Curt hitch part number 13514. We are underneath the vehicle and the first thing we have done is lower the spare tire out of the way to give us a little bit more working room. Over on the passenger side we are going to lower down our exhaust system. We are going to remove it off of its rear most hanger which is attached to the frame on the end board side. There are three screws holding it in to place so we are going to unbolt that now. With the exhaust lowered off of its rear hanger we can point out the mounting holes we are going to be using to install the trailer hitch. 00:35 more
