Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Nissan Versa

Today on our 2011 Nissan Versa, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class One custom fit trailer hitch receiver. So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to sit right below the bumper and the receiver tube is going to just set in just a bit. Now it is going to offer us an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, so it's going to be great for bike racks, cargo carriers, or some light-duty towing. Now the way we're going to mount all of our accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard half-inch pin and clip. Now these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to keep your accessories secure. Now if you do plan on doing some light-duty towing, our safety chain connection point is going to be a plate style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. more

Today on our 2011 Nissan Versa, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Draw-Tite Class I Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to be visible, but the receiver tube's going to be almost flush with the back of our Versa. Now it is going to give us an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, so it's going to be really good for light duty towing, or a bike rack or cargo carrier. Now the way we're going to mount any of those accessories, the hitch pin hole here on the side, and it is going to accept a standard 1/2" pin and clip. Now these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure. The safety chain connection points are going to be a loop style welded to the bottom, and you can see we'll have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off. more
