Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport

Speaker 1: Today in this 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part Number C13377.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One of the first things you'll notice about this hitch, is that we have plenty of clearance around the receiver, which makes this a great hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers, which is one thing that many of our customers are using a hitch for on their Rogue Sport. The other thing you'll notice, the only part of the hitch that's hanging down is the actual receiver itself. The rest of it is completely hidden behind our rear fascia, giving us a nice clean look on a rogue. On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard five-eighth of an inch diameter hitch pin hole to use a separate pin and clip to secure your hitch-mounted accessories. We have pins and clips available for you on our website. On the bottom of our receiver you'll find the rolled steel safe chain loops. What's nice about these, is that even if you have a large hook, such as this one, you can still easily clip on and clip off.On the end of the receiver is this collar that's molded on. Not only does this give us a nice finished look, but it also does help improve the strength of this receiver opening. This hitch features a 525-pound max tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3500-pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount it can pull.It does not support the use of weight distribution, so just keep that in mind if you're planning to use that with your trailer. more
