Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up underneath our rear fascia here. The very end of the receiver sits about even with our rear fascia here. That will make it easy for us to hook up any hitch-mounted accessory we may have and not worry about any interference with our fascia. We have this nice collar that's welded on the outside edge of the receiver, giving it a little bit of extra durability and also giving it a more finished appearance. On the side of our receiver we have our industry-standard 5/8" diameter hitch pinhole right here. more

Best 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hitch Options

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be looking at our best hitch options. Starting at the top, we have the Draw-Tite class 3 hitch, part number 76031. On the bottom we have the CURT class 3 hitch, part number C13126. Here are our two hitches. Now the biggest difference that we have between our two hitches here today is how they're going to look on the vehicle once they're installed. If you note, our CURT hitch here is a straight construction across the frame, whereas our Draw-Tite hitch drops down. Now this is where our Draw-Tite hitch will be exposed underneath our vehicle, whereas our CURT, the entire frame of the hitch is hidden behind the bumper cover. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder - Curt

All right today on this 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to install part #C13126 from Curt. All right this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on a vehicle. Next we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 15 inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2-1/2 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. OK. The first thing we need to do is lower our spare tire. more
