Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2014 Nissan Murano, with the exception of the CrossCabriolet. Our most popular hitches are going to be both the CURT class three and a Draw-Tite class three. The CURT class three is part number 13577. The Draw-Tite part number is 75647. Now both of these hitches are going to offer us the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening opening. We're going to secure our items with a 5/8" diameter pinhole using class three accessories. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Nissan Murano - Hidden Hitch- Video

Today on our 2014 Nissan Murano, we're going to be installing the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 87486. Now, here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper, we have about 5-1/2 inches. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground, we have about 15-1/2 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Now, we're going to begin our installation by going underneath the vehicle and installing a safety strap underneath the rear exhaust here. Now with our safety strap in place, we're going to need to remove a total of four rubber exhaust hangers to allow our exhaust to be lowered down a little bit to give us some working room. Let's go ahead and point out the four rubber exhaust hangers. more

Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground we have approximately fifteen and a quarter inches. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper, we have approximately four and a half inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch.
