Today on this 2004 Nissan Maxima, we're going to install part number 24788 from Draw-Tite. Now this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Nissan. Next we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 6 inches. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 10 1/2 inches. Not I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. To start off our install, we need to remove the spare tire from the trunk. more

So we'll go ahead and remove the top two layers to get access to our spare tire and remove it. more
