Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback. Now both our hitches are going to be Class 1 offerings, which is about all the weight we're going to be able to carry with our Mazda 3 anyway. First we've got our Draw-Tite. This is part number 24843. It's going to have the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening just like our CURT, which we have here. This is part number C11383. Now both of our hitches are going to offer an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Mazda 3 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today in our 2013 Mazda 3 we'll be installing a Draw-Tite hitch part number 24843. This is what our hitch should look like once it's installed. Next we'll give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is five inches. From the top of the receiver to the opening to the ground is eleven inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount bike rack or cargo carrier. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Mazda 3 - Curt- Video
Today, in our 2013 Mazda 3, we'll be installing the Curt Hitch, Part Number C11383. This is what our hitch will look like once installed. Next, we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist your selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper, is 3 1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground, is 10 1/4 inches. This will assist you selecting accessories such as a ball mount, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Now let's go ahead with the installation. more
