Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options available for the 2011 Mazda 3 Hatchback. Now, both our hitches are going to be Class 1 offerings, which is about all the weight we're going to be able to carry with our Mazda 3 anyway. First we've got our Draw-Tite. This is part number 24843. It's going to have the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening just like our Curt, which we have here. This is part number C11383. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Mazda 3 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2011 Mazda, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 24843. This is what our hitch will look like once in position. Next, we're going to give you a couple measurements to assist your selecting accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. For the center of the hitch pin hole, to the outermost edge of the bumper, is 5 1/4". From the top of the receiver tube openings to the ground, was 8 1/4". Now go ahead with the installation. The vehicle raised up, we'll point out the attachment points. We're going to have a total of 4 attachment points, 2 on each side. more

Today we are working on a 2011 Mazda 3. We will be installing Curt hitch part number 11383. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you with ing accessories for your new hitch, such as a draw bar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most point of the bumper is approximately 3-3/4 inches. And from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is approximately 10 inches.
