Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Lincoln MKX- Video
Ryan: Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today we have our Draw-Tite hitch installed on our Lincoln MKX. Now what I really like about this hitch is that everything is hidden behind the bumper other than our receiver tube.Now even though our receiver tube opening is tucked back a little bit and not extremely visible, it's still going to offer us plenty of clearance. That way we can still use it for things like bike racks or cargo carriers. It is a Class 3 hitch, so it's going to utilize that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Lincoln MKX- Video
Today on this 2013 Lincoln MKX, we're going to show you the Curt class 3 two inch receiver hitch, part number C13067. This is what the hitch looks like once installed in the vehicle. At first glance you can see the receiver opening right here, and you can see the body of the hitch. It does sit below the bumper, but it quickly goes back up and underneath the bumper and up into the frame. If we take a closer look at the opening here, this is our two inch receiver, it has a nice rounded collar all the way around it, kind of a uniform finish on the front and the back. If you take a look on the back it has a loop on the bottom for your safety chains. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Lincoln MKX - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2013 Lincoln MKX, we'll be installing Hidden Hitch 2 inch receiver tube hitch, part number 87604. This is what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we'll give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 5 1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 13 1/2 inches. Now we'll go ahead with installation. more

Next, we'll go ahead and give you couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 5-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 13-1/2 inches. Now, we'll go ahead with installation. First, we'll go ahead and point out the attachment points. We'll have a total of four attachment points, two on each side. more
