Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Lincoln MKX - Draw-Tite- Video
Today in our 2010 Lincoln MKX, we will be installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, class III, part number 75992. As you see, this is what our new hitch looks like on our MKX. Very nice design as most of the hitch is hidden behind the bumper fascia. The only thing that sticks out is the actual receiver tube itself which allows you to gain access to your 5/8 pinhole for your hitch pin. There's another pinhole here for the J-style locking pin. Easy access to your tow loops, so for towing you can go ahead and hook up your safety chains. more

Today on our 2010 Lincoln MKX, we're going to install the Curt Hitch, part number C13067. Here are a couple of measurements that assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 5-1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 12-1/2 inches. Now, let's go ahead with the installation. Our first step, we need to lower the exhaust. more

Today on our 2010 Lincoln MKX were going to install Hidden Hitch part number87433.Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessory for a newhitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost part of the bumper is 5 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 13 1/4. Now lets go ahead with the installation.Our first step we need to lower the exhaust. Before we lower the exhaust though we are going to put on a safety strap under it so we can control how far and fast the exhaust will fall. To remove the hangers I recommend using a little spray lubricant on each of the rubber hangers. more
