Best 2008 Lincoln MKX Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2008 Lincoln MKX. Starting at the top we've got the CURT, part number C13067. It's going to be a class three that offers the 2" by 2" opening. We're going to follow that up with the Draw-Tite, part number 75992, also a class three with the 2" by 2" opening. Finally, we've got our Draw-Tite class two, which is the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" opening. Its part number is 36447. Now the biggest noticeable difference that we're going to see with our hitches is the way the receiver tube opening meets our crosstube. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Lincoln MKX - Curt- Video
Today on our 2008 Lincoln MKX we'll be installing the Curt Class 2 Trailer Hitch, Part Number C12036. All right. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up under our vehicle. It doesn't really hang down terribly low at all. In fact our exhaust is almost lower than our hitch is so you don't have to worry about losing any ground clearance. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Lincoln MKX - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2008 Lincoln MKX, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75992. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, we're not adding a lot to the vehicle. Our cross tubes going to remain hidden up here behind the rear fascia. We're just left with our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, nice rounded reinforcement collar around the end there and you'll see our rolled steel style safety chain connection points here. It should allow for plenty of room to get all of our accessories attached, whenever you might need to use those. Now you will see the 5/8 diameter pin hole. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Lincoln MKX - Curt C13067- Video
Today in our 2008, Lincoln MKX well be installing the Curt hitch part number C13067. This is what our hitch well look like once its installed. Next, well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch, pinhole to the outer most edge of the bumper is six inches. From the top of the received tube to the ground is 13-1/2 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a drawbar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. more
