Best 2016 Kia Sorento Hitch Options- Video
Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're gonna be checking out our best trailer hitch options. Today we're gonna be looking at three different trailer hitches available for the Sorento. Right here, this is gonna be the EcoHitch, this one will be the etrailer.com, and this one will be the Curt hitch, so what we're gonna do is kind of touch base on some of the differences and similarities that all these are gonna have. Usually what I like to do right off the bat is recommend the hitch that I would personally put on my own vehicle and a little bit why, but with these, it's kind of tricky because I feel like it's really going to depend on how you plan on using your hitch. With that said, the EcoHitch hands down is going to look the best appearance-wise, at least in my opinion. more

Adding a hitch like this is going to be great for putting a bike rack on, cargo carrier, or even pulling a small trailer. Bike rack, we don't have to load our bikes in the car. Speaker 1: Here on this 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to be having a look at and showing you how to install the e-Trailer.com class 3 trailer hitch receiver. Part number E98843.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One of the first things you will notice about this hitch is that there is plenty of clearance around the receiver which makes this a great hitch to use for bike racks and cargo carriers which is what many of our customers are buying a hitch for their Sorento for to use with a bike rack.Now, even though we have plenty of clearance around our receiver, and the hitch itself isn't concealed behind the fascia, it does sit up nice and tight against it and follows all the lines of the vehicle nicely to give us a nice clean look.What really sets this hitch apart from others on the market is the finish of it. It has a matte black carbide finish which is much more durable than your standard power coat coating of a gloss black or flat black. It's much more scratch resistant and also is much more corrosion resistant. So you'll have nice looking hitch on your vehicle for a very long time.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard, 5/8th of an inch diameter hitch pin hole that you can use a pin and clip to secure your hitch mounted accessories. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the DrawTite max frame custom fit class 4 trailer hitch receiver. This offers the 2" opening. It's part number 75908. Here's what our hitch looks like once we get it installed. You see it tucks up really close underneath the bumper here, which is nice. We're not going to have it hanging down too much. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class 4 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is going to offer the 2 inch opening, its part number is 87665. Here's what our hitch looks like once we get it installed, you'll see it tucks up really close under the bumper here, which is nice. We're not going to have it hanging down too much. This is a class 4 hitch so it offers the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube openings. You've got nice large safety chain connection points on either side, so connecting trailers or anything like that aren't going to be an issue at all. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to take a look at, and show you how to install the Curt Custom-Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. It offers the 2 inch opening. It's part number is C13195. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once installed. As you can see it tucks up really nice right underneath that rear bumper. We're using all factory connection points with the installation, so we don't have to do any drilling or any modification. We'll lower the exhaust down just to give us some room to work, lower the appearance panel down here to give us a little bit of room to work, but really not that involved. more
