Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class three two inch trailer hitch receiver. So the very first thing I noticed about this hitch is the way it's going to look. I think it looks pretty good. It's going to have that matte black finish, and so it's really going to blend in, especially with these factory style bumpers. Just my opinion, has a rugged look that really goes well with the Jeep. more

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches for the 2007 to 2017 Wrangler Unlimited. Now, we've tested all of these hitches on numerous different Jeeps that we have here around the shop and basically, each one of them is going to have strengths and weaknesses, depending on what you're going to do with your Jeep. Now, later in the video, we're going to get into some specifics on each of the hitches, the measurements and things like that. But if you're just interested in knowing which is going to be better for what, we can handle that now and save you some time. Basically, if you're into off-roading, departure angle is usually an issue. That's how steep of an angle on the back of your Jeep you can come off and slide down a hill. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw Tite Max Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76104. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed on our Jeep. All we're really going to see is our receiver tube opening and some safety chain loops. Now, this is a class III hitch, so it's going to give you that 2 inch by 2 inch opening. It's going to have a nice reinforced collar, giving you that nice look. Now, if we come to the side here, the forward-most hole is going to be your pin hole, and it's going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Now, one is not included in our kit but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the CURT custom fit class three trailer hitch receiver. This offers the 2" by 2" opening. Its part number is 13432. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on the vehicle. As you can see, you'll see a little bit of the plate there is going to come back to our rounded-off safety chain connection points here. It's going to be circular in shape. more

This is a class 3, offering 2 inch by 2 inch opening. Its part number is 75515. Here's what the hitch is going to look like installed in your Wrangler. As you can see it fits in here really nicely, uses factory mounting location so there's no holes to drill. See our safety chain connection points come over here, nice wide open holes. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - Draw-Tite 36424- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the draw tight, custom fit, class II trailer hitch receiver. This offers the inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is 36424. Here's what our hitch looks like, once installed on the vehicle. See we've got our plate that's going to come around here, that leads right here into the middle of our inch a quarter by inch and a quarter tube. It's going to give us our opening, and of course our reinforcement collar, there around the end. Safety chain connection points of rolled steel style, here, should be great for connecting whatever type of safety chain that you might have. You can also see our pin hole here. more
