Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches for the 2007 to 2017 Wrangler Unlimited. Now we've tested all of these hitches on numerous different Jeeps that we have here around the shop, and basically each one of them is going to have strengths and weaknesses depending on what you're going to do with your Jeep. Now later in the video, we're going to get into some specifics on each of the hitches, the measurements and things like that, but if you're just interested in knowing which is going to be better for what, we can handle that now and save you some time.Basically, if you're into off-roading, departure angle is usually an issue. That's how steep of an angle on the back of your Jeep you can come off and slide down a hill. If that's a concern, either the eTrailer part number E98835 or the Curt part number 13432, they're going to be the best. Basically, the receiver tube opening here on each of the hitches is going to be even with your bumper. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Custom-Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, this offers the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. It's part number is C13392.This is what your hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, it has a really nice clean factory-like appearance that's designed to bolt right into the bumper structure, so the ease of installation is really, really simple. It's going to be a Class III hitch, that's going to give you the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. It's going to make it very versatile. It's going to work out with bike racks, cargo carriers, ball mounts, just about any type of accessory that they make for a hitch is probably going to come in a Class III variety. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite class three 2" receiver tube hitch, part number 75515. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once it's installed. This is a really nice hitch in that the only thing truly exposed is our chain hold downs and our receiver tube. Our hitch is a fully welded construction with a nice black powder-coated finish. On each side of the receiver tube will be a 5/8 pinhole for your hitch pin, and a 1/2" hole pre-drilled on each side for an anti-rattle lock. This is a class three 2" by 2" receiver tube. more

Today, on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we'll be installing the Curt 2-Inch Receiver Tube Hitch. Part number 13432. This what our hitch will look like once installed. Next, we're going to need a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories from your hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch inaudible 0:00:20 hole to the outermost edge of the spare tire is 10-1/4 inches. From the center of the hitch inaudible 0:00:25 hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 3/4 inches. more
