Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2011 Jeep Liberty. To start with, we'll have our Curt, part number is 13245. It's going to offer the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. We'll follow that up with our Draw-Tite, also a class three with a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. It's part number is 75578. This will be comparable to Hidden Hitch part number 90168.Heres some measurements that will assist you with selecting accessories for your hitch such as a draw bar , a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Today on this 2011 Jeep Liberty, were gonna install a Curt Hitch part number 13245.Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your hitch like a bike rack, a cargo carrier or a draw bar. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost part of the receiver tube is 2 inches past the bumper. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 19 inches. Now lets go ahead with the installation.On the driver side, it would be necessary to take the one bolt out of the support bracket. The support bracket will stay in position as it will get sandwiched in between the hitch and the frame.Now with all our fasteners exposed, we need to go ahead and clean out each one of the weld nuts in the frame. Overtime the threads will become clogged up with rust, dirt, dust and debris. more
