Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Jeep Liberty 36451- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Jeep Liberty, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class II Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 36451.Here's what our hitch is going to look like. It is going to sit right below the bumper and the cross tube is going to be visible. It's a class II hitch, which means it's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. It has this reinforced collar giving it added strength and just an overall nice look to it.Now the way we're going to mount any of our accessories is going to be through this hitch pin here. It is going to accept a standard half inch pin in clip. Now, these aren't included in the kit, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC2.Now the safety chains are going to be a loop style welded to the bottom, it's going to be kind of a rolled stock steel. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Jeep Liberty- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2009 Jeep Liberty, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class II Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12245.So, here's what our hitch is going to look like. It's going to sit right below our bumper, and the crosstube is going to be visible just right underneath. Now, it is a Class II hitch, which means it's going to give us an 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, and it's got a reinforced collar just giving an overall nice finished look but also added strength.Now, the way we're going to mount all of our accessories is going to be through the hitch pinhole here on the side, and it's going to accept a standard 1/2" pin and clip, and these are both included in our kit which is always a nice bonus. The safety chain connection points are going to be a plate style welded to the bottom. We're going to have these oval holes here. We're not going to have too much trouble getting most size hooks on or off.As far as weight capacity is concerned, our hitch is going to feature a 350 pound tongue weight along with a 3500 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

It is going to sit right below our bumper, and that cross is going to be visible spanning to each side. It's a class 3 hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, and it has a nice reinforced collar, not only giving it added strength, but just an overall nice finished look to it. There's going to be a wide variety of accessories available for our hitch since it is a 2" opening. And the way we're going to mount this is to the hitch pin hole here on the side.It's going to accept a standard five ace pin and clip. Now, they're not included in the kit but you can pick them up on our website using part number PC3. more

Best 2009 Jeep Liberty Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2009 Jeep Liberty. To start with we'll have our Curt. The part number is 13245. It's going to offer the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. We'll follow that up with our Draw-Tite, which is also a Class 3, with the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. It's part number is 75578. Now with both hitches being a Class 3 they're really going to be very versatile. more
