Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L we're gonna be showing you how to install the CURT trailer hitch receiver. Before we get into that, let's just take a minute though, we'll check this out and make sure it's gonna be the right setup for you. So right off the bat, probably one of my favorite things about this hitch is the fact that it's going to sit behind the bumper, which is going to allow you to take the panel and reinstall it whenever you're not using the hitch. And so it's gonna be super clean and look factory, which kind of brings me to my next point. If you've never removed this panel, probably not a bad idea to check behind there and make sure you don't have the hitch already from the factory 'cause believe it or not, we do see that from time to time. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite two inch hitch receiver on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Jeep Grand Cherokee L is gonna allow you to do a couple of different things. You can use it for bike racks and cargo carriers. If you don't have any room left on the inside of your vehicle, you can put those accessories on the back and be able to haul more items. You can also use it for ball mounts to be able to pull small trailers. more

And so when you're choosing to purchase the hitch, you probably want to know what's the difference between the two. And honestly, I had to do a little research myself to figure out the difference, so hopefully this helps. The only difference between the two hitches is going to be the way that it mounts up into the frame. It's gonna bolt up the same. more

But before we get into that, why don't we just take a minute, check this out, and make sure it's gonna work for you. Probably one of the best things about this hitch is the fact that when you're not using it it's gonna be completely hidden, so it's gonna sit behind the bumper. And on these Jeeps, they have this removable panel here, so, whenever you're ready to use it, you just turn the screws on the bottom of it, this pops out of the way, now you're gonna have full access to it. I do wanna mention, you know, before you pick out a hitch, just double check your vehicle, take this door off, make sure you don't have a factory one behind here already. more

Hi there, Jeep owners, in your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install CURT's Class 3 Two-Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. It's going to be completely hidden. You can't even tell that it's there because it's behind our fascia here. It does replace our bumper beam, but that's what allows it to stay completely hidden. The Grand Cherokee L, it comes equipped with a cover that is designed to be removed when you wanna access a hitch. more

If you're looking for two inch hitch receivers for your Jeep Grand Cherokee L, this is my pick, because the capacities are higher than the competitor's. The tongue weight is gonna be 1,125 pounds, and the gross trailer weight is gonna be 7,500 pounds. We can get a midsize trailer on here, with a lot of luggage and cargo on top of that trailer. more

So for starters, this trailer hitch is for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Now there is an emphasis on the L because that's gonna be completely different than just the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee. So you need to know which one you have. The L model should be clearly labeled with this L batch here in the lower left hand corner. So if that's what you have this trailer hitch is for you if you just have the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee you will need a different hitch. more
