Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Jeep Compass- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Class III custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2019 Jeep Compass. So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it fully installed. The cross tube is going to be visible sitting down right below the bumper, but it kind of goes back at an angle so it's not as visible. But the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. And since it is a class III, it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is going to give the widest variety of options when it comes to accessories. But regardless, we're going to use it to carry bikes with us, to go to the trail, tow a trailer, or maybe put a cargo carrier in there. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Jeep Compass- Video

And today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2018 Jeep Compass.So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once it's fully installed. It's gonna have a really nice clean appearance to it, because the cross tube's going to be completely hidden behind the bumper. And all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out.Our hitch is going to give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which will be great for a lot of different variety of things. Whether we needed to tow a trailer, we can find a bomb out, throw a bike rack on there, take them with us on a trip. Or if we need to free up space on the inside of our compass, we can put a cargo carrier in there.Now regardless of what kind of accessory we're going to use. more

Best 2018 Jeep Compass Trailer Hitch- Video
Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2018 Jeep Compass. Here on the bottom we have the Draw-Tite, and here on top we have the Curt. First noticeable difference is gonna be how they mount onto the vehicle. This is gonna use one hole, or our Draw-Tite is gonna use one hole on the bottom of our frame rail, and two on the sides, where our Curt is gonna use two holes on the bottom of the frame rail and two on the sides.Our Draw-Tite is gonna be visible off the bottom of the vehicle where our Curt is actually gonna be hidden, which is gonna require some faisure 00:00:32 trimming. Our Draw-Tite is gonna have a premounted bracket for any wiring accessories where your Curt's not gonna have that. With our Draw-Tite, safety chain loops, you can see we're gonna add plate style. more
