Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Hyundai Sonata - Draw-Tite

Today in this 2012 Hyundai Sonata, we're going to show you the Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4" Receiver Hitch, part #24853. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Sonata. Now you will notice that you can actually see most of the hitch here. That is because with the construction of a car, it doesn't allow it to be hidden very much, but we have a nice, sturdy, strong square body here for a hitch, which goes up to our arms that reach up and attach to your frame. Take a look at the receiver end here. We can see it uses a 1/2 inch hitch pin or your favorite locking pin. It has a generous loop for your safety chains, and this is our inch and a quarter opening for your ball mount or accessories. more

Today on this 2012 Hyundai Sonata, we're going to show you the Curt Class 1, 1 1/4" Receiver Kit, part #C11025. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the Sonata. Now you can see here, you can actually see the body of the hitch below the bumper, but that's because that's how the vehicle's constructed. There will not be a way of hiding the hitch, but it has a nice round tube shape to it. We take a look at the receiver itself, on each side there are bounds for your safety chains for your trailer. 1/2" hitch pin hole, and it does come with the hitch pin and clip or you can use your favorite hitch pin lock. more
