Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Hyundai Elantra- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Draw-Tite class one sport frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 24902. You see the cross-tube is visible, but it fits nicely with the contour of the vehicle, so it's not too overbearing. This is going to be a class one hitch. It's going to be an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter. Your hitch pinhole is going to be half inch in diameter. You're going to have rolled steel style safety chain rings, so it's going to give you plenty of room for different size safety chain hooks. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we'll be looking at our most popular hitch options. We have two hitches here today. On the top we have a CURT class one, part number C11303. On the bottom we have a Draw-Tite class one, part number 24902. Our hitches are constructed a little bit differently here. The CURT has this curve going down the frame. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Hyundai Elantra - Curt- Video
Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra we'll be installing the Curt hitch, part number C11303. This is what out hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you when selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, a bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 4 1/2 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 10 1/2 inches. Now we'll go ahead with the installation. Now to begin our install we'll first go ahead and point out the attachment points, one on each frame rail and the manufacturers tow hook here in the center. For our frame rail fasteners we'll be using the half inch carriage bolt and block that'll go into the frame. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra well be installing the Curt hitch, part number C11097. Next well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you when selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is four and a quarter inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 10 and a half inches. This will assist you when selecting accessories such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. First before we can install our hitch well need to lower the exhaust. more
