Best 2003 Honda Pilot Hitch Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2003 Honda Pilot. The two best hitch options for your Honda Pilot are going to be the Draw-Tite class 3, part number 75599 and the Curt class 3, part number 13328. The biggest difference that you're going to see between the Draw-Tite and the Curt is that here on the Draw-Tite the face of the receiver tube opening, and the hitch pin hole are further out. That's going to give you more clearance to the rear of the vehicle, but that's also going to make this a little bit more visible than here on the cart. Both of these hitches are going to be great for your class 3 hitch mounted accessories, such as bike racks, cargo carriers or ball mounts, but I think the biggest determining factor is going to be, do you want one that is going to give you more clearance, or do you want one that's going to be a little bit more hidden We've got a Curt here on this Pilot. Although that Draw-Tite gives us more clearance, you're still going to have pretty good clearance with this Curt because it isn't too far recessed in from the rear of this bumper here, so no matter what you're using, unless you definitely need more clearance, this Curt should still give you plenty. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Honda Pilot- Video
Today on this 2003 Honda Pilot we are going to be installing part number 75599 from Draw-Tite. This also applies to part number 87454 with Hidden Hitch. The first thing we are going to do is show you the mounting points for the hitch. There are going to be three locations on each side of the vehicle. The three locations on the passenger side are going to be here, here, and here. This will also apply to the driver side, but as you see we are going to have to remove the tow hook to access those holes. Next we are going to remove the bolts that are holding up our two hook on the driver side of the vehicle. 00:31 more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Honda Pilot 13328- Video
Today on this 2003 Honda Pilot we will be installing Curt hitch part number 13328. Before we get started we are going to show you a couple of final installed dimensions that will help make choosing your hitch accessories a little bit easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 16-1/2 inches. From the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to be approximately 5 inches.
