Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitch options for the 2010 Honda Fit. Our post popular is going to be the Draw-Tite Class 1. That part number is 24826. We'll follow that up with the Curt Class 1. Part number C11064. You can see there's quite a bit of a different in the design of our hitches overall. The Curt has a couple of arms that are going to come up on each side to a single connect point. more

All right, today on this 2010 Honda Fit, we're going to install part number 60218 from Hidden Hitch. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on the Honda Fit. Next we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about nine and a half inches and from center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about four inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is go ahead and get our vehicle ready to install the hitch. Now here on driver side this tab has to be removed. Let's go ahead and make a mark, basically go along the ridge here of the plastic and we'll just cut it out. more

All right today, on this 2010 Honda Fit, we're going to install part number 24826 from Draw-Tite. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the Honda Fit. Next, we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you in selecting some accessories such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From top of your receiver opening, down to the ground, will be about 9-1/2 inches and from center of the hitch-pin hold to the edge of the bumper will be about 4 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch in installed. The first thing we do is go ahead and get our vehicle ready to install the hitch. Now here on the driver's side, this tab has to be removed. Let's go ahead and make a mark, basically go along the ridge here of the plastic and we'll just cut it out. Now to remove the rivet, we will use a flat-plate screwdriver, just pop out the center. Work the rivet out and then we'll pull down on our plastic a little bit and we'll just go ahead and cut it out. more
