It seems like works for a lot of other people as well. You'll just have to kick your foot to either side of the receiver tube opening and take a little practice, find that sweet spot but you can get it to open up. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Honda CRV we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number is 76128. Here's what our Draw-Tite hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed on our CRV. It is gonna sit right below our bumper and that cross tube is gonna be visibile, but it's kind of angled so it's not gonna be very intrusive and sticking out.Since it's a class three it's gonna have the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening which is gonna make it practically unlimited when it comes to accessories. That's gonna mean we're gonna be able to use anything from a standard ball mount, a cargo carrier, all the way up to a four bike rack. The way we're gonna mount all of our accessories is gonna be through this hole towards the front of the vehicle and it's gonna accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip, they're not included in our kit but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3.The secondary hole towards the back of our receiver tube here is gonna be exclusively for the J-pin stabilization device. What that's gonna do is you're gonna have your standard hitch pin that's gonna go in and then this hook here is actually gonna apply pressure to your accessory on the inside of the receiver tube so it keeps everything nice and snug. more
