In the side of our receiver we have two pin holes. The one closest to the front of our vehicle is our industry standard 5/8 of a diameter hitch pin hole, and that's what's used to secure your hitch mounted accessories. The one here, closer to the rear of the vehicle, that's a J-pin stabilization device hole. A J-pin stabilization device is something that you can use to take some of that annoying shake play and rattle out of what is inserted into your receiver. Welded to the bottom of our hitch receiver we have these tubular safety chain loops, which are made of rolled steel. more
