Trailer Hitch Installation - 2002 Ford Windstar- Video
Today on this 2002 Ford Windstar we are going to be installing Draw-Tite hitch part number 36189. This installation will also apply for Hidden Hitch part number 90097. We are underneath the vehicle and the first thing we want to do is lower the spare tire out of the way to give us a little bit more working room. Taking a look at the driver side frame rail we have got a larger existing hole here at the end of the frame. That is going to provide our rear most attaching point for our trailer hitch and that is going to be the same on both the driver and passenger sides and then we will put the hitch up. We actually have to drill the forward most hole that we are going to be using as our attaching point. That is going to be in this area right here.
