All right, today on this 2006 Ford Ranger, we're going to review and install the Curt Class III 2 inch receiver hitch, part number 13138. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed in our truck. At first glance, you notice that it sits just below the bumper here and all you see is the receiver and just part of the cross tube right here. This is our 2 inch receiver opening right here, has a nice symmetrical rounded collar around the end for reinforcement. As we look back on our receiver tube right here, it uses a 5/8ths of an inch hitch pin or your favorite locking pin. Our receiver tube goes into a round stock here in the body of our hitch. You can see it will curve up and into the frame of the vehicle. All our hardware to install the hitch is provided. more
