Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2013 Ford Fusion. Up top here, we're gonna have a Curt, which is gonna be a class two hitch, and then right below that we're gonna have a Draw-Tite, which is gonna be a class one.So just looking at our hitches, you can see how differently they're designed. Now, the Curt is gonna sit up behind our bumper, and all we're gonna see is the receiver tube sticking out. Whereas with the Draw-Tite, that cross tube is gonna be visible, sitting right below our bumper. Now since the Curt is gonna sit up behind the bumper, it is gonna provide us with a little bit better ground clearance. Not by a whole lot, maybe about a half an inch or so. more

Today, on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we'll be installing the Curt hitch, part# C12091. Here's what our hitch will look like once installed. Next, I'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist your selecting accessories, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 6". From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 10-1/2". We'll now go ahead with the installation. We've gone ahead and raised the vehicle up, and our first step will be to remove the under-body panel. There are multiple fasteners along the back edge of the panel and the front edge. We'll start by removing the back fasteners first. We got out screw fasteners out. Then, we'll remove the pushpin fasteners. To remove the pushpin fasteners, we'll take out flat-blade screwdriver, get underneath the center of the fastener, once we have the center pried out, we can get underneath the entire fastener and remove it. Now, we'll move along the front edge and now allow the panel to come down. more

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we'll be installing Hidden Hitch part number 60322. Here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next, I'll give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 4 1/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 10 inches. We'll now go ahead with the installation. To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the fasteners that secure the under-body panel behind the muffler. more
