Hey, everyone. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer trailer hitch receiver here on a 2019 Ford Flex. So please note, this hitch is actually designed for models with the dual exhaust. Meaning we have a tailpipe on this side and a tailpipe on this side. If you just have a model with a single exhaust, this hitch isn't gonna work, but we do have other options. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle here. more

But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure this is the right setup for you. So with the Flex being a full-size SUV, people use them to do a lot of different things, whether that be using a cargo carrier or bike rack to free up some space on the inside when you got the family with you or even pulling a trailer around. And because of that, if it we're me, I would want a hitch that could handle just about any task that I'm trying to get done. And with this setup here, it's gonna allow us to do that. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford Flex - Draw-Tite

Speaker 1: Today on our 2019 Ford Flex, we're going to be installing Draw Tite's Class 3 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75679.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. Some of the cross tube is going to be visible underneath the bumper, but some of it's also going to be tucked up behind it.It is a Class 3 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube, so this is going to be great for all of your towing needs.The hole towards the front of the vehicle is going to be for a 5/8 inch hitch pin. Now, one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick on up here at etrailer.com, part number PC3.The smaller hole just to the rear of your hitch pin hole is going to allow it to accommodate a J pin. A J pin has a small peg that will go in that hole. Press up against whatever accessories you may have inside your hitch, and take out any play and prevent any rattles from occurring.It features plate style safety chain loops. They have a large opening, so it will accommodate very large shanks very well. more
