Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Ford Flex - Curt- Video
Today on our 2012 ford flex we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the curt custom fit class 3 trailer hitch receiver. This offers the 2 inch opening, it's part number C13110. Here's what their hitch looks like installed on the vehicle. As you can see we can get a visual on it from about here over to here. It's not quite symmetrical but in order to get up over our exhaust and stuff that's what's going to be required. We've got a smaller diameter tube here, I like that it's not quite as large as what you get on some of the class 3 hitches. It's going to give us good support. 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, of course. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Ford Flex - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on this 2012 Ford Flex were going to install part number 87571 from Hidden Hitch. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the vehicle. Next well give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 14 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about three inches. Now well go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more

All right, today on this 2012 Ford Flex, we're going to install part number 13551 from Curt. All right, this is what the hitch looks like once installed on the vehicle. Next, we'll give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 13 inches, and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 3-3/4 inches. Now, we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and loosen up the exhaust and get it out of our way. more
