Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ford Edge- Video
Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the CURT trailer hitch receiver on a 2018 Ford Edge. And this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it looks pretty good with its hidden crosstube. And that just simply means that all that you're gonna see hanging down from the bottom of your vehicle is gonna be the receiver tube opening as well as the safety chain loops. So on a sport model like we have here, it gives it a nice, clean look and all the usability of a hitch. more

So if it we're me and I was thinking about putting a hitch on my Edge, a couple things would probably pop up in my mind, one of 'em being, is it capable You know, is the hitch gonna be able to do all those different types of things And with the setup like this one here, given the weight capacities and the size of the hitch, yes, it is. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ford Edge- Video
Today on pour 2018 Ford Edge we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Draw Tite Class 3 Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part number 75214.Of here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed on our Edge. The cross tube is going to be visible, it is going to hang down right below the bumper. But it's going to sit back a little bit. So the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out.It's a Class 3 hitch which means it's going to give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. It's going to have a lot of different options for accessories that we can mount up.Now the way we're going to mount any of those is to the hitch pin hole here on the side. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ford Edge - Draw-Tite- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford Edge we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Draw Tite Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75234. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to be completely hidden by the bumper, and all we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out. It is a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which means we'll have a really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories. The way we're going to mount all of our accessories is through the larger pin hole, towards the front of the vehicle, and it is going to accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip, and while these aren't included in the kit, you can pick them up along with locking devices here at etrailer.com.If you're wondering what this secondary hole towards the receiver tube end is, that's going to be used exclusively for the J-pin stabilization device, which is Draw Tite's version of an anti-rattle, if your accessory doesn't have one.
