Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2014 Ford Edge, we're going to be taking a look and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class III 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Many of our edge customers plan on using their SUV's to do a little bit of everything. So whether you want to put on a cargo carrier to free up some space on the inside of your car, log around a few bikes, or even tow a trailer, is going to be a good all around versatile hitch. Best 2014 Ford Edge Trailer Hitch Options

Hi there Edge owners. Today on your 2014 Ford Edge, we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options. On top, we've got our etrailer hitch, below that we have our hitch from Curt, and down here at the bottom we've got two Draw-Tite hitches. And the reason we have two Draw-Tite hitches is because there are two different types of Edges out there. You could have a Ford Edge that is just regular or you could have a Ford Edge that is a sport model. Both the etrailer and the Curt will work with either a sport or non-sport Ford Edge, where our Draw-Tites down here, this one is designed to work with the non-sport model and this one is designed to work with the sport model. So keeping that in mind moving forward, I would recommend these two so that way you don't have any confusion when ordering your hitch. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Ford Edge - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2014 Ford Edge, we'll be having a look at, and installing, the Draw-Tite class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75992. Heres what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, the only part of our hitch that's visible underneath our vehicle is our actual class III, two inch receiver itself. The rest of our hitch, the frame of it, is hidden behind our rear fascia. Now on the side of our hitch, you'll find two holes. The larger one, closest to the front of our vehicle, is our industry standard, five eighth of an inch, hitch pinhole, that we can use a pin or a locking device to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. Closer to the rear of the hitch, we have our J-pin stabilization device hole. We have J-pin stabilization devices available on our website. What they do is take away some of the annoying shake, play and rattle out of what's inserted into your receiver, if your device doesn't already have an anti-rattle device built into it. more
